Do y'all remember when Roxanne Shante's movie, "Roxanne Roxanne" came out on Netflix? Well, it had Hip Hop fans talking and Quavo tweeted this:
He had the nerve to compare an industry created beef to Roxanne vs Sparky D in a sad attempt to promote Motorsport. You see him hashtag "HipHophistory"? Quavo was the one who put Nicki Minaj in a hard spot by asking if it was OK for Ole girl to be on Motorsport. Nicki couldn't say no because then the story would be leaked that she did not want to do a song with Ole Girl.
After seeing everything that happened, she might as well have said no. Without Quavo, I really don't think Atlantic would have had a way to entangle Nicki Minaj in their scheme to market Ole Girl as "David" in their "David vs Goliath" Hip Hop reality show.
If he was Nicki's friend, he would have never tweeted this. This tweet exposes that Quavo thought the beef was good for business, while I doubt Nicki viewed it that way.
This is why everything Quavo thinks about will fail until he does right by Nicki Minaj.
This is Hip Hop History: The downfall of Quavo
