Cardi B and Candace Owens have been Foxtrotting on Twitter for over an hour. Going back and forth like they usually do, knowing that it's all good promotion for both. These are two social media savvy women who have something to promote. Candace has a new show, "Candace," debuting on March 19th, and Cardi B is trying are hardest to keep her single "UP" stuck in the top 10 on the charts.
In some of the tweets, Cardi B is talking about America making caricatures of Black women...really, Cardi? She also claims that Candace Owen's husband cheated with her brother...whew, chile! Candace is threatening to sue. We know these threats of lawsuits usually go nowhere. This is Jerry Springer on Twitter, and I am not falling for any of it.
Just like it was exposed that Charlamagne was working with conservative Tomi Lahren, I think Cardi B and Candace Owens are working together. No, I do not believe they are calling each other on the phone...yet, but I do think they know that they have chemistry and work great off each other. It's very performative but are not both performers? It's just sad that they both use Black politics for their own personal gain and often have those who love watching "catfights" encouraging it.
I would not be shocked if both were offered to face off at some point in time for a TV special.
