Nicki, Nicki, Nicki...
Last night, Nicki Minaj made a last-ditch effort to secure the #1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 by dropping a so-called "Roman Remix" of her single "Super Freaky Girl." While I find this song annoyingly too long, the thought of Roman making a grand return intrigued me, so I gave it a listen. Unsurprisingly, just like with the return of Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj wasted my fck'n time.
WE GOT BAMBOOZLED
In Nicki's obsessive need to compete for #1s with Cardi B, she has said fuck originality, fuck Roman, and fuck a remix cause there is no remix, and there is no Roman, just desperation. I guess only girls from Houston know how to do remixes.
Speaking of Houston, Nicki Minaj is again garnering attention by having people speculate that she is dissing Megan Thee Stallion:

Did "Shether" not teach Nicki anything? This plan of taking Megan or Cardi B down by deaths of a thousand subs is unbecoming of the so-called Queen of Rap, who, after 15 years in the game, is still not battle tested. The one thing missing from Nicki's rap resume is a good competitive rap battle where she
does not run to get a male rapper to assist her on a track. She ran and got Eminem for "Roman's Revenge," ducked when it came to Remy, and on this track, she tries hiding behind Roman to diss Megan. This is the type of shit that hurts "Rap Nicki's" legacy.
As for what Nicki "diss," I find it funny that I just posted Megan giving Latto props for being cocky and how she likes being around other women who feel they are the shit. While today we find out Nicki seems uncomfortable with Megan's cockiness.
One of the cockiest muthafckaz in the game, bothered by someone being cocky. Ain't that a bitch?
This reminds me of when Drake cried about Kendrick's "Control" verse while Nicki wondered why Kendrick did not mention her. How the tables have turned. Now Nicki is Drake, LOL.
As for album sales, Megan will underperform her first week, but that does not mean the album will underperform when it's all said and done. I will speak about that later.
But, I will say we are still waiting on Nicki's 5th thing-thing, and so far, all her "lead" singles only get attention because she is shading Meg or Cardi B. Also, every album she has dropped has sold less than the last. In fact, that is how we got streaming. To avoid The Pinkprint from being her second "flop," Nicki fought for streams to be counted because people were not buying her music. But, even with streams, she sold less than her previous two projects. So, while as a vet, she may be able to outsell some of the new girls, she is well behind her peers. So, chill...
Plus, if you listen to one of her producers, Nicki doesn't even like this shit. This is the only way she can sell, and why at close to 40, she is still doing the squat pose. Didn't I tell y'all that I think the deal she had to make to get out of being blackballed may have included her beefing with the girls because that brings in money? It's not like a lot of money was not generated from the first Nicki vs. Cardi B beef. Why not add Megan?
Anyways, according to sources, Nicki's efforts have paid off. She should debut at #1. Pop-Nicki proves again to be the superior artist to Rap-Nicki...early CONGRATS!
