What in the Ganja Burn?
Doja Cat will be dropping the "Woman" music video off her Grammy-nominated album "Planet Her" tomorrow at 7 AM PST. While Doja Cat is considered one of the more creative girls in music, after viewing the video snippet, many are calling her "Copy Cat."
I don't know if Doja is paying homage or trolling, but I do know she is serving Nicki Minaj in Ganja Burn in the video teaser. It's the sand, the color tone, and similarly shot scenes for me.
Doja Cat just got out of the "Get Into It (Yuh) drama where many accused her of imitating Nicki Minaj, which, to be honest, I did not see it that way, only to find herself about to embroiled in a similar drama. So is this by coincidence or design?
Now, obviously, we have not seen the whole video yet. So, it could turn out to be totally different, but just like with Cardi B and Lil Nas X, I think Doja's team knows it's very easy to play off on the emotions of Barbras. See y'all tomorrow...LOL!
