Drake is dropping new music at midnight, but it is not his highly-anticipated album "Certified Lover Boy." He will be dropping "Scary Hours 2," which appears to be an extension of his 2018 two-song EP "Scary Hours." That EP had some little song called "God's Plan;" maybe y'all heard of it.
I wonder if this drop is related to the music video Drake was shooting the other day?
This news comes after a track called "What's Next" was "leaked" and then removed on Twitter. We know that Drake loves to leak his music to see the reaction and then release it on one of his playlists, EPs, loosies, whatever name he decides to give it. He told DJ Akademiks that leak was a "warm-up." I prefer that song not to be on this project.
This release kinda makes me feel like Drake is pushing "Certified Lover Boy" back again but wants to give his fans some music to hold them over. Drake mentioned that since he did have surgery, the things he had planned for this album rollout could not be done in time for a February release, which is part of the reason for the delay.
Are ya'll excited for tonight's release?
Say Sumthin, Like, Share...Thanks!
I’m interested to see what it sounds like.
