Last night, there were multiple reports of shots fired during "Smurkchella," a concert featuring Lil Durk and others at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix. Fans took to social media to post videos of people panicking and saying they heard shots. Even though there were reports of a woman grazed by a bullet, that story was later debunked.
ABC15 News received information from a manager who works at Celebrity Theatre who told them an artist dropped a microphone on stage and that is what sounded like gunshots to fans. Any injuries sustained by concertgoers was due to people rushing out of the concert area.
Glad to hear there was not any gun violence.
