Nicki Minja's third studio album, The Pinkprint, was released on this day six years ago. The album debuted at #2 with 244K (198K pure sales) first-week sales. The album, which some consider her best, is pack with musical gems like, "Pills N Potions," "I Lied," "The Crying Game," and "Feeling Myself" feat. Beyonce.

I must have been protesting when Nicki dropped this The Pinkprint Movie because I was unaware she dropped this until it had been out for years, LOL. When I found this, I watched it over and over.

What I loved about it is that she combined her acting talent with her musical talent. She picked three great songs and turned them into a drama. This is the only type of drama I want from Mrs. Petty.

What are y'all fave songs and is this her best album?

An incredible album. When I listen to the songs and watch the videos from The Pink Print I am reminded that Nicki is so gifted and that more than a rapper, she is an artist who loves creating. She is so versatile and it comes easy. I liked this album the best because it showed the various aspects of her artistry. I have too many favorites to name. No skips for me on this album.

Same here. I didn’t know about that this movie until years later. I think it’s genius especially with it consisting of the ballads from that album. With her being a rapper & actress this was a great way to present these songs without it being over looked on her album by her rap fans. My all time favorite Nicki song is on this album, “Want Some More”! I love favorite, Shanghai, & Mona Lisa too. I usually hold dear the songs I haven’t heard over played too. Anaconda video is still so fresh! It aged really well and still looks visually superior to the videos being out out now. This is my favorite album & era of hers. It felt…
