Hitmaka AKA Yung Berg Resigns As VP Of A&R At Atlantic Records

It looks like Hitmaka AKA Yung Berg no longer has to deal with stripper rappers. He posted on Instagram his resignation letter to Atlantic Records. According to the letter, his last day will be March 3rd, 2021.

It looks like Hitmaka AKA Yung Berg no longer has to deal with stripper rappers. He posted on Instagram his resignation letter to Atlantic Records. According to the letter, his last day will be March 3rd, 2021.

Hitmaka's caption read, "Just spent 7 figures & bought myself out of my deal. Goodbye @atlanticrecords. NEW DEAL ALERT 🚨 I'm really about to be able to put my people in position."

I had posted a few weeks back that it appears Hitmaka may have left Atlantic to start his own label, MakaSound Records. This does not appear to be a hostile resignation. Mike Kyser was showing love in the comment sections. That could also just be the public love guys normally show each other while trying to take each other out behind the scenes.

Yesterday, Hitmaka's artist Rahky dropped the official music video for her new song FSU.
