Is Colin Kaepernick's Artwork For His New Book Dangerous For Darkskin Black Women?



After Colin Kaepernick announced his book, "Abolition For the People: The Movement For A Future Without Policing & Prisons" YouTuber Paris Milan started a petition to get Kaepernick to change the artwork. Paris wrote:


This art piece is dangerous for the image and safety of Dark Skinned Black Women as it politicizes our phenotype and perpetuates negative stereotypes that Dark Skinned Black Women are angry, masculine, and front-line soldiers, ready to battle the law enforcement system and places us as the face of anarchy.


She also points out that they never use women who look more like the women they date as a symbol of their anti-police/prison movements. Below is the show she did on the issue.
