Is Drake Spilling Tea or Lying On SZA In New 21 Savage Collab "Mr. Right Now"?

Law #6 - Court Attention At All Costs

UPDATE #1

Last night, SZA came out and cleaned up the mess that Drake made by using his "poetic rap license" with his verse on 21 Savage's "Mr. Right Now." Drake revealed he dated SZA in 2008. Besides fans being shocked that the two dated, in 2008 SZA would have been 17 for most of that year. Considering allegations swirling around Drake and underage girls, people started to wonder if Drizzy just CONFIRM the rumors.

Well, while Drake was making sure people knew he sent a message to a sick fan, SZA was left to clean up on aisle 6. She did confirm the two dated, but it was in 2009. SZA tweeted, "I just didn't want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening. Completely innocent. Lifetime ago."

I am confused as to why she had to be the one to come out and say this. Why didn't Drake address his own lyrics like a man? He is using a sick fan to distract, while she is out here doing PR work. Well, it does go to prove a point I was making to someone about how an artist can say whatever they want in a song because it's viewed as art. When lyrics are about real events, they have a "creative license" to change details to push whatever narrative they want. A song does not have to be 100% true.

Why Drake would want to push a narrative of him possibly dating an underage SZA...only the Certified Lover Boy can answer that.

Last night, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin dropped their highly-anticipated album "Savage Mode II." On the 15-track project, one of the most talked-about songs is the collab with Drake on "Mr. Right Now." The song is not getting attention because it's a hot collaboration that we just have to play repeatedly. It's getting attention because Drake alleges he dated R&B star SZA back in 2008:

Why he decided to name drop now is beyond me. However, I find it interesting that as the talks about

Drake's possible "fall off" get louder and louder, he decides to go back to his old tricks, using a woman for content purposes to "court attention" for himself. Champagne Papi understands that we are in a time that if a man claims he was an "entanglement" with a woman, be it true or not, people view that as "confirmation," instead what it really is…he say. Now, SZA has to deal with questions she may not want to address, and we all know that she has anxiety. Damn, Drake!

Now, I know some of you think what is the big deal if people believe she dated Drakkke. Well, not everyone is interested in playing a character in his songs or being thought of as someone who played with his "glo-worm." Not to mention what was said in response to my tweet. We already know about the past rumors about Drake. Now, no one can claim a smear campaign because Drake is the one who is

re-introduced this topic.

Everyone get out your calculators...
