Megan Thee Stallion got the internet in a frenzy after she posted photos of herself sitting in a Netflix director's chair and another of her holding up cue cards with "Stranger Things" printed on the back. While many on the internet speculated the Grammy winner will be making an appearance on the hit show's final season, I believe the cue cards reveal what we can expect.
We know that Megan Thee Stallion has a deal with Netflix, but last night I started thinking about what could be the connection between Megan and "Stranger Things" beside her love of scary movies and her deal. Then I remembered when Megan appeared on The Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon and basically had to take the lead on the Natalie Dyer interview because Fallon was not familiar with the show.
So, I think people connected with the show saw how much of a true fan Megan was, and since she already has a deal with Netflix, they decided to put together some type of finale special where she asks the cast questions about the final episodes. Kind of like Andy Cohen.
I could be off, but this was my guess last night, so I'm sharing it.
Either way, Megan's brand is branding.
