Looks like the self-proclaimed "Queen Bee" is ready to tell her own story, minus Naturi. In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Lil Kim spoke about her upcoming memoir, The Queen Bee. She told People she is excited to tell her story, "Many people have thought they knew the story of Lil' Kim, but they have no idea."
The book will cover her 30-year career and how she inspired other female rappers' careers. She will also touch on double standards, sex positivity, and going to prison. "I wanted to show them that y'all cannot hold a good woman down; you could send me to the gutter, and I'm going to ride it out." The book drops on Nov. 2nd.
This should be an interesting read. I gave up on Lil Kim years ago, but I would like to hear how she views her career past the wigs and fashion.
