GQ interviewed Lil Nas X and there were some interesting parts that I just want to highlight.
NICKI MINAJ NOT COMFORTABLE???
Of course, his muva Nicki Minaj came up. He spoke on originally wanting her on "Industry Baby" but it not working out. He said, "I feel like things always work out. Jack Harlow ended up being, like, the best option. I'm not sure how comfortable Nicki would have felt with the video or whatnot"
Am I the only one who feels like the last part questioning if Nicki would have been comfortable with the video is an awkward response? Is he suggesting that Nicki Minaj, whose fan base is now more Lil Nas Xs than Megans, would have an issue with a video showcasing gay boys????
I just feel like that comment was strange, cause you normally hear him and others mention someone being "comfortable" with straight men. Sometimes I be feeling like Lil Nas X is getting revenge on the muva who rejected him.
SEVEN LIL KIMS
I just want to highlight this statement made by the GQ interviewer. He is so right. These male rappers, cannot stand that they now have to compete with multiple women and gay boys who are more talented and exciting than them.
"For the first time ever, there's not just one Lil Kim. There's seven Lil Kims and a Missy Elliott. They can't keep up. Because none of them are Jay-Z or Kanye, and they all know that. OUCH!!!
DABABY
Lil Nas X admits he feels bad for DaBaby...
Say Sumthin, Like, Share...Thanks!
I am sick of these Nicki Minaj feature questions on these new artist. Even the Barbz are over them 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
My goodness. Do these journalists/ interviewers not get tired of asking the same questions that have already been answered before. He is not the first artist Nicki has turned down for a fucking feature and damn sho won't be the last. Ask him about his crackhead ass mama. Did she turn to crack after she found out you were gay? I mean anything else. Are you top or bottom? Are you an industry plant?
