Lollapalooza Chicago Cancels DaBaby Headlining Show and Replaces Him With Young Thug

DABABY GETS CANCELLED...LITERALLY

As DaBaby and some bloggers try to prove that "Cancel Culture" does not exist, the fallout from Jonathan's Rolling Loud performance just doesn't stop.

Today Lollapalooza Chicago announced that they have cancelled DaBaby's headling performance at Grand Park and replaced him with none other than Young Thug. Isn't that ironic..don't you think? Young Thug is one of the rappers ridiculed for dressing "feminine" and "acting gay," and now, due to DaBaby's homophobic remarks and backward-ass apologies, he gets an opportunity to headline a Lollapalooza show. G-Herbo will take Young Thug's old slot. It also must be noted that Young Thug is not turning down the chance to headline at Lollapalooza in some foolish show of solidarity with DaBaby. Does that make him opportunistic or a good businessman who understands where the future of Hip Hop is headed and where it is not?

"If your endorsement deals and bags are going to be lower in 2 to 3 weeks, then put your cell phone light in the air." 😂

THE GREATEST TRICK CANCEL CULTURE EVER PULLED WAS CONVINCING THE WORLD IT DIDN'T EXIST

I am not really sure how "Cancel Culture" looks to those who say it does not exist, but this is what it looks like to me. It's not the sudden disappearance of an artist or their money. It's the slow drip of losing endorsements, shows, sales, then eventually fans. It's having to work harder for things that were automatically given to you. "Cancel Culture" does give an artist an opportunity to become uncancelled because it is a slow process, but if you decide to be a rebel without a cause, you will find yourself performing on smaller stages playing to smaller crowds.

I agree with your thoughts on cancel culture! Tory claims it don’t exist but his last project debuted at #76 in March. His star is definitely dwindling and he’s in denial. I feel like if Da Baby come back with a hit then he’ll be fine. His mainstream career might be over. Only time will tell

DaBaby could have easily survived this if he had:

1) Used Drake's 72 hours and evaluate where things are before responding

2) Given a real apology

What is keeping this going is him being so antagonist towards people, so they are giving him the same energy back.

Tory was never that man, so cancelling his ass is as easy as breathing, LOL.

I figured he was out of the festival because he’s been here in Texas all weekend. I think he may still be here in Houston right now.

Oh...wait...bring that back Holiday. If she has been liking problematic posts, then she is creating a bad situation for herself.

If you look at someone like MariahTheScientist, she is signed to Tory, but people still support her. I even checked her out and I like her song. I don't blame her for other's shit, but if she starts to insert herself in a way that I find personally problematic...that's something different. KayKilo, should focus on herself and support in silence.
