Megan Thee Stallion was the musical guest for Saturday Night Live's season premiere show with host Chris Rock. Megan made the most out of her guest appearance by giving two stellar performances and appearing in two SNL skits.
Megan Thee Stallion is currently trending on Twitter because of her first performance of her hit song, "Savage" remix with Beyonce. Megan did not just show up to regular promo performance; she came armed with a powerful three-word message...PROTECT BLACK WOMEN.
Megan's performance had her in a white and black psychedelic outfit standing in front of a backdrop with bullet holes that had blood dripping out of them. That was symbolic in two ways. It represented Black people being killed in AmeriKKKa by police and represented her as a victim of gun violence. Megan powerfully demanded, "We need to protect our Black women and love our Black women because, at the end of the day, we need our Black women." We have to remember, Megan Thee Stallion was not preaching to the choir. The SNL audience is not us. This was very bold and powerful for her to use her SNL performance to give such a pro-Black woman statement.
I am very proud of her. No one will shame her, me, or any other sistah for standing up for ourselves.

@Kymberli, common sense would tell you that this post is not about that case or gossip surrounding it on the internet streets. My pet peeve is people hijacking my post to talk about whatever they want just to ruin the experience for other people, especially when I have a forum area where what you are talking about has been discussed.

@Fck Yaya I didn't see that I see an ss of one of megs friend saying how Kelsey came to her and how she said Kelsey had voicemails of tory saying how he is sorry he shot meg. that friend also said that Kelsey was paid off and brought a chain with the money and how she will get that chain snatched. plz i ain't like these other ppl come with receipts. if this true than Kelsey needs to talk. common sense is what some of yall need im Gucci
