In an interview with Vogue Magazine, Megan Thee Stallion, when asked about her sophomore album she, said:
I mean, honestly, I just want people to know that I’m talented in real life. I don’t need a circus going on behind me to distract you from the fact that I can really, really rap. I just feel like I'm that girl, so I gotta show everybody that I am that girl. I don’t need all of the extras right now. I just want the whole focus of the next project and my next era to be about me, without the tricks.
I loved reading this because this is how I view Megan and a few other girls. They don't need the hoopla to garner interest in their raps. In fact, the commotion takes away from it and doesn't work like it does for some others. These girls can hold my interest with just a mic in their hand.
Once Megan gets a few things settled, muthfckaz better watch out.
Say Sumthin, Tap The Heart, Share...Thanks!
Love this so much! Go Meg!
For the most part, people know Megan is talented and that she raps her ass off. She just need a solid mainstream project. She doesn’t have one yet
And period megan is at the stage in her career where people want to discredit her! She kicked in a door for Texas female rappers, but she'll never get her flowers for it.
I seen where lil ju said he produced a song with Babyface. I wonder was it for Megan & if it was how is gonna sound 😭😩
