HITS Daily Double released the YTD 50 Most Streamed Artists of 2020. This is across ALL platforms. To no one's shock, Drake is #1. He, like Taylor Swift, has managed to slide into the streaming era without a hitched. Drake still manages to have high pure sales along with high streams.
The only female rapper on the list is Megan Thee Stallion. Even with the obvious smear campaign, people are still listening to her music. As long as the music is still being consumed, nothing else matters.
Only 7 females made the top 50. We gotta do better in 2021.
