Nicki Minaj wants that #1 by any means necessary, and if that means replacing the gang signs and the "Sleeeeze" talk for Dr. Luke, pink wig big ass, and the squat pose, well, that is exactly what she will do. In an attempt to get a solo #1 with her Rick James sampled song "Super Freaky Girl" Nicki is relying on nostalgia to jolt her to the top of the charts.
It looked like her plan was working as she miraculously racked up all these streams and was breaking Spotify records despite many people complaining the song is too similar to Anaconda. In fact, she was doing so good that she was competing for a #1 debut on the Hot 100 until an alleged rule change was made by Billboard.
So, Nicki has decided to call an old friend to help her capture the top spot. In the morning, fans will be getting a "Super Freaky Girl" remix featuring Roman.
