WHEWWWW!
What did I say in my post about J. Cole's "Snow On Tha Bluff?" Let me remind ya'll, I said that since Noname does not want to perform for her white fans, then take this opportunity to respond to J.Cole because she will for sure have a Black audience for that. To my surprise, she actually responded. If she would have named it "Queen Tone" it would have been perfect.
The song is called Song 33 and she addresses J Cole "respectfully" so none of these "tone police" should an issue. But lets get into these lyrics:
But niggas in the back quiet as a church mouse
Basement studio when duty calls to get the verse out
I guess the ego hurt now
it's time to go to work...wow
Look at him go
He really bout to write about me when the world is in smokes?
When it's people in trees?
When George begging for his mother saying he couldn't breathe, you thought to write about me?
YIKES!
That's how you school someone, especially those who want to be spoken to like children. Everything doesn't need to be an aggressive diss. This made me say "Ouch."
J Cole did retweet because he has to do the whole "I'm not bothered" thing. Considering his stance with 69 and Lil Pump, he better support.
