Saweetie Will Make Acting Debut On Midseason Premiere Of Grown-ish As Rapper Indigo

Saweetie is making her acting debut on the hit show Grown-ish. On the midseason premiere of the show, Zoey Johnson will have her hands full with another difficult artist.
Zoey, who dropped out of college to work full time for rapper Joey Bada$$, will find herself in Miami working on a music video featuring Joey and his protege Indigo, played by Saweetie.
Indigo is described as an artist who knows exactly what she wants and is not afraid to say it. Saweetie tells EW, "I think Indigo is just a little bit of a bitch. She means well, but just sometimes she says the wrong things." Saweetie's will guest-star in multiple episodes.
This is a good look for Saweetie and will allow her another way to grow her fanbase. The episode will air on January 21st at 8/7c.
