TRUMP RAPPERS

In #HipHop we have got to separate the “lyricist”/ “Rapper” from those who are “entertainers” / “personalities”.

The problem right now within the culture is that the entertainers / personalities want to be included in the “the best....” conversations, while cheating. In order to not appear bitter, you got older rappers going Stevie Wonder and saying that’s how rap is evolving.

EVOLVING: develop gradually, especially from a SIMPLE to a MORE COMPLEX FORM.

#hiphop is not evolving by changing it into other genres, where writing your own material isn’t part of the foundation of that genre.

Rap music is DEVOLVING which means to become SIMPLER or DISAPPEAR, just so some “artists” don’t have to up theirs skills or go work in an office. They are the #culturevultures

As talented as #Drake is, him wanting to not be in that curator category with #Kanye is causing issues. He isn’t a #NickiMinaj , #Eminem , #Royce59 . #Drizzy always says music is a collaborative efforts, which it is. But, when it comes to rap verses, it’s about ONE man or woman’s pen vs another man or woman’s pen 🖊

Dominating the streaming era doesn’t give you the right to start changing rules that benefit you but hurt the culture. The Trump Rappers (those relying on personality over skill) need to be humble (Kendrick Lamar voice) or write their rhymes.
