Mugler Meg released the video to her hard-hitting single "Plan B, " which also serves as the directorial debut for Mugler's creative director Casey Cadwallader. The minimalist video showcases Megan rapping in front of a black backdrop, with minimal makeup, wearing...you guessed it, Mugler.
Megan looks great, but I feel like this video was made to be a Mugler ad not to visually bring this song to life. Also, I prefer Megan in more cinematic videos with film/anime references. That fits Megan's personality the best, and the other girls are not doing those types of videos. Megan is fun and bubbly, the straw that stirs the drink; she is not a mannequin.
With that said, Megan is commanding. I never think her songs or videos would be better if she had another artist with her. She is really a throwback to when rappers could hold your attention all by themselves.
Say Sumthin, Tap The Heart, Share...Thanks!
I love the simplicity of the video. Give me a 90s video vibe.
Like I said I think it's fine she has alot going on and I know she wanted to please her fans. It's visually pleasing and Megan looks great!
