Kendrick Lamar has been the talk of the internet for the past five days. First, it started the announcement that he will be departing longtime label TDE, then it was revealed that K. Dot will be featured on his cousin, Baby Keem's aptly titled forthcoming single, "Family Ties." Today, social media is yelling "Classic" after Baby Keem posted a sneak peek of the "Family Ties" music video played in reverse as Kendrick raps and the much-talked-about Normani plays Bonnie to Keem's Clyde.
The song sounds good to me and it gets Kendrick out there while Kanye and Drake play footsies with each other. Kanye was sending a distraction for Kendrick to do all this...HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!
This is also an excellent look for Normani. Instead of being pressed over the VMAs, she needs to capitalize on this in some way. "Family Ties" drops tomorrow.
