After last night's "Twitter Tussel" between Cardi B and Cuban Doll, those words never rang so true. In an exclusive interview with YouTuber Armon Wiggins, Cardi claimed for the past 2 years, she has taken the high road while Cuban Doll was taking shots. So, last night's Twitter exchange was her way of showing she is not a punk or pussy...win or lose.
Flashback: Cuban Doll was one of the girls linked to Offset in a 2018 cheating scandal.
While many heard Cardi on Armon's Twitter Spaces, it seems he was not feeling the love when it came to his peers reposting his interview. He tweeted,
"This Media Game is a mess.. Sooo Cardi B and Cuban Doll was literally the biggest story of the day yesterday and blogs were updating their post by the minute every time something happen… But when Cardi came on The Armon Wiggins Show Spaces..Everybody clocked out for lunch."
While "Gossip Of The City" did clock in and posted his interview, she then shaded him for calling the interview an "exclusive."
Armon went on Stationhead to address Fee and others for not supporting his interview, "Let's be very clear. When Nicki Minaj had her Twitter Spaces, and her fans were up there asking questions, everybody was posting that!"
QUESTION?:
Armon feels that his interview with Cardi B was ignored because of him. Even though I see the jealousy and envy amongst content creators/bloggers/media personalities, there is another way you can view this "blackout" on Armon's interview.
1) Cardi B's current popularity is being overestimated. Cardi B is no longer the new girl from the Bronx, whose 'realness" makes her relatable. She is now a mother of two, pushing 30 and still trying to play "David" when in actuality she is "Goliath." So is there really a high demand to listen to Cardi B justify why she went off on another woman with an alleged history of sleeping with Offset? We just went through this 4 months ago with Jade. People enjoy the back and forth on Twitter, but the excuses not so much.
2) In the interview, Cardi B wanted the drama to be over and said she would not speak on it again. So, she may have gone behind Armon's back and told the other blogs to not post the interview to avoid the comments.
So, I am throwing it to y'all to discuss. Why do y'all think Armon's interview wasn't posted by big media platforms/blogs?

That Twitter drama was not the biggest story. Her interview was not exclusive and I know Jason was hot, especially since he probably put Armon in spaces to connect with Cardi. In regards to her sophomore album, I know her fans are highly anticipating it but don't know if the GP feels the same. I honestly don't see her putting out more than two albums. The reason Nicki Twitter spaces was posted was because her fans made the moment go viral. I didn't see people posting his interview with Cardi. So maybe he should be mad at her fans.
Armon and cardi need each other. They both have to be careful of each other. Armon likes attention, Bardigang does not like Armon. I hardly hear Armon mention cardi b fans as Bardi gang.
Cardi b is feeling the sophomore album heat. I do not think she expected the rise of Megan and Doja cat that quickly. Her blogs have a lot to do.
I remember on a particular live when Megan was coming up, she kept on saying, people are quite finicky, that she will just make her money and leave.
I know she has all these accolades, number 1s, diamond records. But I think there is a slight shift from 2018. Can she sell between 250-300 first week? Behazd…
People lost interest in the story pretty fast..I know I did lol. I do feel though some of these celeb need to be careful being cool with Youtubers/bloggers like Armon. To me he’s a flip flopper and will attach himself to whoever is “hot” at the time. He admitted in the past he’s a barb and Nicki a while back had blocked him. He also talked mess about Cardi, and look where he’s at right now.
As far as Cardi goes, I do feel she has became overhyped. I always felt she wasn’t a rapper like Nicki, Megan, etc. She’s mostly known for her fashion and breaking records. She just needs to drop her album and call it a…
I think people were over it pretty fast. For people to stay invested, they have to be invested in both parties. No offense to Cuban but I don’t think people cared enough and for Cardi she couldn’t carry the attention and publicity of this beef by herself. I 100% agree with you on both points, I immediately thought of the first point when I was listening to the clips you posted.
I just don’t think Cardi is as famous or considered an “A” list celebrity like people think she is. She is mostly IG famous and that does not represent the world in a grand scale . I also think she knows that as well and that is why she keeps all of those bloggers in her back pocket. They make her seem more than what she is. But that’s just my opinion.
