Tory Lanez Stabbed in Prison Yard, Rushed to Bakersfield Hospital

TMZ is reporting that on this fine Monday, inmate BW0168—better known to the outside world as Tory Lanez—was stabbed while out in the yard of the California Correctional Institute. The injuries were reportedly severe enough that he had to be rushed to a hospital in Bakersfield. Tragic. Or not.

This comes just a week after a photo surfaced of Lanez looking smug and unbothered, posted up with his prison clique like it was just another day in the dorms. So, where were Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, and Mike when the blade came out? Did Tory miss a protection payment? Did someone in the photo decide they’d had enough of his singing? Or knowing Tory, did he maybe stab himself just to get a break from gen pop?

Wouldn’t be the dumbest thing he’s done.

I have zero sympathy for a man who shot a woman as her back was turned, then thought it was cute to make a music video of him butchering horse legs to taunt her. I hope the pain is excruciating. I hope the recovery is slow. And I hope he survives—only because he still has years left on that sentence he earned.

Anyway, Tory got stabbed. Pass it on.
