BET Awards Roundtable Discussion: Best Female Hip Hop Artists And Lil Nas X Snubbed

BET has revealed the nominations for the upcoming BET Awards, and some artists actually care.

Besides the pathetic pandering to STANs with the nomination of Doja Cat in the Hip Hop category, where I doubt they can name the song that qualifies her for that spot. We have Lil Nas X being completely shut out. If you can find so much space for Doja Cat who is the most nominated artist for this year's show, then you can fit Lil Nas X in somewhere.

Lil Nas X is being very vocal about the snub on Twitter. He tweeted, "Thank you, BET Awards. An outstanding zero nominations again. Black excellence!"

BET should feel lucky that an artist of Lil Nas X's stature even gives an fck about their award show. This white-owned show/network is far from "Black Excellence" and I am glad they are being called out on the first day of Pride month.

Was Lil Nas X Snubbed And Did Doja Cat Earn Her Spot In Hip Hop Category?

Say Sumthin, Tap The Heart, Share...Thanks!
