Footage Of Saweetie and Quavo Fighting Outside Of North Hollywood Apartment Elevator (Updated)

Update 4/1 1:27 PM PST

Saweetie, reminding everyone that she has a degree in communications, spoke to People Magazine about the viral video of her and Quavo having an altercation in an elevator.

She told the magazine, "This unfortunate incident happened a year ago, while we have reconciled since then and moved past this particular disagreement, there were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since moved on,"

She also asked the public to respect her privacy.

I love that Saweetie did not address this matter via social media. I hope this becomes a common practice by all the female rappers when it comes to serious matters.

TMuthafcknZ reported that LAPD has opened up an investigation into the 2020 elevator altercation between Saweetie and Quavo. Reportedly this could end up a situation where both parties are wrong.

One thing the police will have is the full video. Whoever gave TMuthafcknZ the footage did not include the start of the altercation. Saweetie could have been Mike Tyson on Quavo's ass, or Quavo could have been on her first. Also, you can see someone was allowed to use their phone to record the surveillance monitor. The video was not pulled straight from the surveillance system and given to someone. The person was allowed to record from the security office or whatever in the apartment complex.

I doubt Saweetie or Quavo want this to go further than it already has, so I don't see this investigation doing much.

What y'all think?

*this is the full video that TMZ posted. The video does not start from the beginning of the incident. You can see the game console is already in the elevator.

TMuthafcknZ obtained video footage of Saweetie and Quavo fighting outside a North Hollywood apartment complex elevator. We do not see how it started but we can see Saweetie was shoved to the ground of the elevator and Quavo makes no attempt to help her up.

With the rumors that the Migos attacked Justin Laboy out today, this is not a good look for Quavo.

What are y'all thoughts?

Politicians are really keeping up with Hip Hop. Democrat Frangell Basora took to Twitter to show support to Saweetie and call out Quavo. Yes, his @ button works.
