Yesterday, Houston rap legend, Bun B, spoke out on the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez incident. He did not mince words; he said, "Fck Tory Lanez," and he said that if anybody would have done something to Megan while in Houston, they would have rolled.
What I appreciated the most about Bun B speaking out is that he highlighted how, throughout history, Black women have protected Black men. He even told a personal story about his wife standing between him and a gun pointed at them by a home intruder. His wife said to him that she did that to give him enough time to get his weapon.
As we all know, Megan Thee Stallion's favorite rapper is Pimp C. That is where she got her alter-ego, Tina Snow. So, I know having his longtime partner, Bun B, speak out on her behalf has to be touching, especially with that Houston connection.
