Judge Voids Ruling Saying Megan Thee Stallion's "Something For The Hotties" Is Not An Album

Updated: 11/3 at 11:36 AM PST

We can cancel that Megan Thee Stallion Christmas album. Earlier today, I correctly reported that the judge had ruled in favor of Carl Crawford/1501 in the dispute over if "Something For The Hotties" was an album. I do not know if all parties were unaware of this and made phone calls or if it was just a court error, but it has been fixed, and the judge has VOIDED the ruling.

Thanks to all the people who knew what was up and for those who didn't..I-Oops.

For those who want to view the court docs yourself, the link below should get you to the page. You dod need an account, which is easy to get. Don't say I never did anything for you...LOL.

Megan Thee Stallion claims my post reporting Carl Crawford won a PARTIAL SUMMARY JUDGMENT is misinformation and that they have not gone to court yet to get a summary judgment.

I do not want to be a blog that spreads misinformation, y'all know how I hate that shit. However, I did not just come here and run my mouth. I provided a court document from the Harris County site that has a judge's signature. Also, I clearly stated this case is not over. The judge only ruled on the part about SFTH being an album. That was not the whole case.

I have no problem removing this post if it can be explained where my error was made, or it was an error with the courts cause y'all know I don't want Carl winning shit.

For Megan to think I would not gladly retract this story...girl...girl...girl

Carl Crawford Wins Partial Summary Judgement In Megan Thee Stallion Case.

What a week...

The Judge in the Megan Thee Stallion vs. Carl Crawford/1501 case has ruled that "Something For The Hotties" is not an album under her contract, so she still owes 1501 another project. This is just a partial summary judgment, as this case is still ongoing regarding who owes who money.

Carl Crawford Wins Partial Judgment In Megan Thee Stallion Album Case.

I did think this would be the hardest for Megan to win if she could not prove that someone on Carl's side approved "SFTH" as an album. Oh well...

If I were Megan, I would drop a quick 40 min album about nothing or just talking shit about Carl Crawford because he can't dictate the album's content. All she has to do is turn in an album that satisfies her contract; it is up to him to release it. Megan should put as little money as possible behind this project unless Carl wants to pony up some cash. Shit, Megan should make her own beats, and skip the fancy cover art. Just a solid color with the words "LAST ALBUM."

Speak, Heart, Share...Thanks!
