Megan joins "The First Club" by becoming the first rapper to grace the cover Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
issue. This puts her in the company of Tyra Banks and Beyonce, who both made HERstory by becoming the first Black solo cover star and first musician to be on SI. Megan told People Magazine that "It Feels Amazing!"
Anyone who watched Megan's Hottie Bootcamp knows she was working hard for this photoshoot. Megan said, "I had been training for months, and I was super prepared." This did not go unnoticed by photographer James Macari, who noted that he usually doesn't get to the water until the fourth or fifth setup, but Megan was ready from the start.
The issue will be out on July 22, along with the other 2021 cover stars Naomi Osaka and Leyna Bloom.
