Lola Chantrelle Mitchell, better known as Gangsta Boo, was found dead on Sunday, January 1, 2023, around 4 PM in her beloved city of Memphis. Her cause of death has yet to be released.
This come as a shock to the Hip Hop community as Gangsta Boo was just re-emerging and becoming known to the new generation of rap fans with her appearance on shows like The Drink Champs and being featured on "FTCU" with Latto and Glorilla.
Gangsta Boo is more than a former member of Three 6 Mafia; she is a trailblazer in female rap, particularly southern rap, and her willingness to show love to the upcoming girls, especially the Memphis girls who are now taking over, only makes her legacy more extraordinary.
