Sales Projections Are In For Polo G and Migos

The projections are in for Polo G's "Hall of Fame" and Migos "Culture III" albums. According to HITS Daily, Polo G's album will edge out the Migos for the #1 spot with 165-175K (4K-7K pure sales) units. The Migos are headed for #2 with 125-135K (5K-8K pure sales).

People make up what is good and bad, so I do not know the narratives if any, that will be thrown out. But, for the Migos, these sales are consistent with past "Culture" projects. It's nothing to brag about, but also nothing to be totally down about. If they can get some hit singles, then it was an OK release.

I didn’t expect Polo to go #1. Artists with Drake features normally go #1 lol. But Polo has an advantage since Rapstar just went #1. This is why it’s important for artists lead single(s) to perform well before they release albums.

Migos did better than I thought they’d do especially considering they’re not in their prime. That’s numbers a lot of debut albums do. And it looks like their budget wasn’t as high as the label’s prize act so IMO they did good.
