On October 8th, Thursday, Daystar Peterson AKA Tory Lanez has been charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm n a vehicle. I am actually kind of shocked there are not more charges, but his celebrity probably helped with that. If found guilty, he faces a maximum of 22 years and 8 months in prison. That is a lot of time to "Diddy Bop."
These charges stem from a July 12th incident in the Hollywood Hills, where after leaving a party at Kylie Jenner's house, an argument erupted. Megan Thee Stallion claims they were all arguing in an SUV until she got tired of the back and forth. She decided to walk the rest of the way home, and after exiting the SUV, Tory allegedly shot her. Tory Lanez denies shooting her in music only. He also refuses to identify who the "real" shooter is. It will be interesting to see if his album is used at trial.

The minute people saw Tory start using 6ixi9ine tactics, they should have known something was up. I had to roll my eyes at the people saying Tory isn't acting guilty. What you witnessed was a man without remorse. To me, he was acting like someone who knew he better win over as many people, especially women, as possible. Tory Lanez was proclaiming his innocence not to fans, but potential jurors. People have a hard time convicting celebrities they like. Look at R. Kelly and OJ. Jury nullification is always a possibility in celebrity cases.
Tory may have put some doubt in my mind if he had come out and publicly demanded the D.A. charge him or publicly clear him. He did not do that and instead allowed his dumb-dumb supporters to believe that it was up to Megan to press criminal charges.
I will try to resist the urge to be petty because a Black woman was shot at the end of the day and had to prove why she did not deserve bullets in her body. Megan had a smear campaign going against her, even though she was forced into cooperating with the police. Isn't that some sh*t? She was trying to let it go, but because Tory Lanez wanted more than Megan's silence, he decided to attack her again...allegedly.

Tory Lanez's narcissism truly has him believing he can defend himself better than his lawyer. He is still trying to play to potential jurors, but missing the mark completely. Don't mention Megan's name! The victim of a violent crime does not want to be used in her attacker's propaganda. So, far he and his supporters have MANIFESTED charges. Let's see if they can manifest a conviction too.

Today, Daystar Peterson AKA Tory Lanez AKA The Black Tekashi appeared by phone for what was supposed to be his arraignment in L.A. County court on multiple felony charges, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm. However, Tory's lawyer requested and was granted a continuance. So, Tory did not have to enter a plea.
Per TMuthafcknZ, the judge did order Tory Lanez to stay at least 100 fck'n yards away from Megan. I wished he would be prevented him from mentioning her name too. He also was ordered to turn over any guns he owns.
