Why Nicki Minaj Should Unblock Caresha (Yung Miami)

I am a big believer in a closed mouth don't get fed, so when I saw that Yung Miami tweeted, "Can you unblock me on Instagram @NickiMinaj" My thought was, "you go, Caresha!"

Yung Miami begs Nicki Minaj to unblock her

It's no secret that Caresha is one of Nicki Minaj's 'sons," but unfortunately, her rise in Hip Hop coincided with the blackballing of her muva. Like many new female rappers, the media put Yung Miami in an uncomfortable position to pick sides in a beef that was none of her business. A treatment that male rappers are never burdened with.

Caresha and her partner may not have handled things perfectly when it came to the Nicki questions, but I

also don't feel Drake dealt with things perfectly. Drake was at Quavo's album release party laughing with everyone else. Drake was doing interviews insinuating Nicki was pillow talking to Meek about him. Drake shaded her at award shows. So, if she can forgive Drake, who is way more influential than the City Girls, then why not Caresha?

I understand that Drake is beneficial to Nicki, but that is only for the short term. These new female

rappers are helpful to Nicki in the long term. Lil Wayne could skateboard for all those years because when people look at Drake and Nicki, they see what Lil Wayne help create.

While Nicki Minaj has yet to put her own artists on, she has definitely been the inspiration to a whole new generation of female rappers, no matter what some may say. When Nicki decides the exit music, she needs girls like Caresha to keep her legacy relevant. How your peers view you is crucial. There will not be male rappers 5-10 years from now saying how much Nicki Minaj influenced them. They will be talking about Drake. She needs the girls to be talking to their fans about how influential Nicki Minaj was to their careers. Why would they do that if she's blocking them?

Nicki Minaj has an excellent opportunity to do for these girls what Lil Kim failed to do for her. We all see where Lil Kim ended up. So, let's start by unblocking Caresha!😜🥰😉

*This thought does not apply to Cardi B. She has crossed lines physically and you can't just forgive and forget that. That needs a public explanation and apology that is as loud as one of her rants when she drops a song.
