Today, HNHH broke the story of singer Naomi Sharon's fiance, Jamie Sun, breaking off their 8-year engagement over allegations she and Drake were doing more than working on music during their CLB sessions.
On April 21st, Jamie started leaving hints of an alleged breakup when he posted a series of messages saying:
I am no longer with the person people think I am together with
I am no longer with the 8 years I thought I was together with
I am no longer with the engagement I thought I was together with
On April 24th, he then posted a photo of himself with the caption, "I don't drink Champagne Papi."
On May 2nd, after promoting that he has new music dropping, Jamie wrote, "Imagine having the most beautiful, supportive, and faithful relationship 8 years long with an engagement and wedding planned. A beautiful woman on your side as ride or die. (Then) this major opportunity comes, and a world star calls your fiancé to sign a record deal. Flies you both over and (then) out of nowhere all the trust is vanished with (knives) in your back and in your heart."
That sonnet Jamie Sun wrote seems more performative than from a man distraught that his fiance of 8 long-ass years left him for a fling and record contract with Drake.
Did Certified Lover Boy Drake really break up a happy home, or is this a certified rollout by the king of narrative and spin?
WITHOUT REMORSE
Yesterday, the same day Jamie posted his heartbreak caption, Drake posted on Instagram a photo of himself with the caption "Without Remorse."
As a person who does believe in coincidences, I'm giving this coincidence a side-eye. It's too perfect of a narrative for me not to be suspicious. Drake, a walking 48 Laws of Power, is offering his fans the fantasy they want to believe in. Drake, a guy who takes your girl "without remorse" and then drops a song about it. This is the perfect promo for his upcoming album.
