Actor/Activist Kendrick Sampson with the help of Actress Tessa Thompson and BLM Co-Founder Patrisse Cullors penned a letter to the entertainment industry. The letter included a list of demands calling for Hollywood to divest from police and to make moves that support Black Lives Matter. The movie/TV/media industry was called out for the way they portray Black people and how it has led to dire consequences for us in real life. The letter was signed by 300 members of Black Hollywood, which include Issa Rae, Zoe Kravitz, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, and Yara Shahidi.
