As we all know, Megan is a huge fan of anime so much that she once dressed up as one of her fave characters, Shoto Todoroki, for a Paper Magazine photoshoot. So, it really is not a surprise that Crunchyroll would want to speak to one of the hottest rappers in the game, who is also introducing a different crowd to the anime world.
Tim Lyu asked Megan Thee Stallion various anime-related questions, so you needed to be familiar with anime to know what they were talking about LOL. But, it was interesting to see a sistah know what she was talking about when it comes to anime. In the same way, Nicki Minaj made Black girls feel comfortable shopping at Hot Topic, Megan may be inspiring Black girls to become interested in anime or be proud to be anime stans.
