First, Megan Thee Stallion added tracks to "Something For Thee Hotties." Now, she confirms that she made more tweaks to meet the 1501 requirements for an album. That alone makes this project worth the wait. Didn't I say that I hope she was thinking about that? Using music that is old or that you don't intend on putting on your album as a way to knock out contractual obligations is smart.
Also, Megan said something that made me very exciting about her album dropping next year. Meg said that the songs she is adding to this project are songs she had for her album; however, they no longer fit the theme she is going with. I loved hearing that because that means she is not forcing songs onto album just because she likes it. Instead, she is really taking her time to curate a complete project.
I know Carl is swinging at the air.
Megan has a laughing fit talking about Yung Miami. She insinuates that Caresha had a different line about her, but switched it up. She also does the best Yung Miami impersonation. I could not stop laughing.
Y'all go stream "Rap Freaks"
Megan with a message to the smart Hotties.
Say Sumthin, Like, Share...Thanks!
The album is ok. Altogether? It sounds better than GN. However, its obvious Megan is releasing projects to fulfill her contract instead of releasing albums that the people can enjoy. Something with replay value like Tina Snow. She need to be more serious and strategic about what she release because these projects will be held to the same standard. You don’t want a discography full of mid-albums.
I doubt the minutes on the streaming services matter that much because the times always vary per streaming platform and upload method. As long as the physical album 💿 is 45 minutes she’s good. Also she add some songs last minute to meet the requirement.
I forgot, how long does the album have to be to meet the requirement? If it's 45 mins she still missed it by 22 secs, according to spotify time.
