Tory Lanez lost his hair, lost Melii, and now has lost his request to blab about his ongoing criminal case for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. If he loses a dog, he will be a walking country song.
According to Entertainment Tonight, his lawyer Shawn Holley said, "We are simply seeking a fair proceeding, which is difficult when Ms. Peterson and her lawyer are able to speak about the evidence in the case, yet we are unable to refute their public statements because of the protective order,"
First off, I am pretty sure that Tory's last name is "Peterson," and Megan's is "Pete." I hope Shawn Holley learns Megan's name before the trial, or she is going to look pretty unprepared and silly calling her by the wrong last name.
Second, Shawn Holley has some nerve.
In her motion to modify the gag order, Holley included incomplete discovery evidence about the gun residue. That information was not pertinent to her request. She did that, knowing it would get out to the press, and Tory Lanez's internet legal team would do their best to spin it. She wants to try this case in public, without the consequences of fcking up.
Megan Thee Stallion's lawyer, Alex Spiro, was asked about the information planted in the motion. He was not the one who introduced the topic of gun residue. In his client's best interest, he set the record straight. Now, Shawn Holley is mad because she did not anticipate Megan's lawyer playing her reindeer games. She opened that door; he simply walked through it.

Speaking of reindeer games, Shawn Holley is definitely getting her money's worth. After the fat lady sang, Holly throws out that a witness was being intimidated by Megan Thee Stallion. Now, Shawn Holley knows that her new allegation is a separate issue, and if there is any validity to her claims, she can pursue them. In fact, due to the seriousness of her accusations, I am shocked she did not push the matter before the gag order concern.
Anyways, the judge saw right through what she was doing and would not even hear it.
Again, a tactic to give the Tory Umbrellas something to talk about as they try to convince themselves Tory Lanez did not take another loss.
Next court date March 25th.
Tory Lanez Wants Gag Order Modified So He Can Leak Information About His Case
TMuthafcknZ reported that Tory "I Dropped a Whole Album" Lanez filed papers to modify his gag order so that he can speak on his case. Even though he dropped an album, had his father do an interview, did a whole IG Live where he tried to dispute Megan's side, spoke on Club House, has bloggers telling his side of the story, etc.; Tory still feels it's unfair that he can't leak information that he gets from discovery.
According to the story, Tory Lanez felt it was unfair that Megan Thee Stallion was able to debunk false reports of his charges being dropped. Even though Megan did not reveal any new information regarding the case.
I feel like this is a tactic by Tory Lanez to get out information that there was gunshot residue
implicated on others. He knew that by putting that info in his request, TMZ and other outlets that can pull the report will highlight that part. A slick way to get around his gag order before a judge rules on his request.
That may be why Kelsey Nicole was asking for lie detector tests. Are there problems between Puss In Boots and Shrimp?
But, I think it's been proven that if you are near someone who shoots a gun, especially multiple times, you can get gun residue on you too. As I pointed out in the past, it appeared that Kesley was going to allow Megan to walk home alone. I also warned Kelsey to watch out for Tory Lanez trying to use her as his reasonable doubt.
At the end of the day, when it comes time to testify under oath; if Kelsey, Megan, the bodyguard, and the person who called 911 all say that Tory had the gun and that Tory shot Megan, there can be gun residue on me, and he is still going to jail.

Here are excerpts from Page Six's story on this. First, I had to laugh when Tory's lawyer claims he has been quiet on this case. Everyone knows what his "U turn" tweets are about. He has spoken on this case way more than Megan and made more music about it.
Tory's lawyers claim that WITNESSES implicate others. So, the DA turned over evidence of "witnesses" implicated OTHERS. So multiple people shot Megan? OK, Logan. I still believe this motion was a tactic to get out a narrative before the judge could rule.
Megan's attorney did respond.
