Miss Jones, who was known as Wendy Williams's "rival" back in the day, did a recap on Wendy's biopic with Wendy's former right-hand man AKA the original Charlamange, Skeletor. It was a long show, but she got into some thangs that I thought were interesting. It's mostly about the dynamic between Wendy and Kevin Hunter. I am providing timestamps, so y'all go to the parts that interest you the most.
Let's start with Miss Jones talking about this fake bodyguard named "Bulge" that Wendy made up on her show because she was afraid of being confronted by the artists she talked shit about. She connected that story as to why Wendy Williams married Kevin Hunter. Miss Jones believes she was looking for "protection and muscle."🫖 Hmmm...sounds familiar. Moving on. (start of video)
Miss Jones then goes into her issues with Kevin Hunter, which included him putting a hit out on her. He couldn't just dox Miss Jones? She starts off by saying THEY TRIED TO KILL ME! (1:01). She explains how she
found out Kevin tried ending her career permanently. Miss Jones said she was notified while on vacation in Aruba and stated, "Later I found out it was really all Kevin cause me and Wendy never really had no problems. It was always Kevin trying to get in between our friendship cause he was threatened, thinking I wanted to be on TV, which I never did. I just wanted to get a hit record on the radio."(1:12). She then recounts how easy it would have been to kill her and how DJ Envy stepped to Kevin Hunter over the allegations(2:46).
A fan then asked about Wendy Williams's assistant, Nicole Spence, who filed a lawsuit alleging Wendy Williams tried to pimp her out to Kevin Hunter. She also was the one who revealed that Kevin Hunter tried to put a hit out on Miss Jones. Miss Jones said, "Allegedly, she had proof of threesomes that she, and Wendy, and Kevin had been partaking in, and WBLS-FM didn't want the smoke"(3:25).
Miss Jones apologizes to Beyonce for being bitchy (4:59).
Back to Kevin Hunter. Miss Jones was asked if she thought Kevin was jealous of her relationship with Wendy Williams. Miss Jones spoke about Kevin wanting complete control, and the only way to get that is by isolating Wendy from everybody (5:24). She then told this story about when she and Wendy were in Philly. It was in front of a jewelry store, and Miss Jones said, "She wanted to come over to the truck to say "hello" to me. So, we hugged, and we're talking; Kevin went into the jewelry store, and I guess Wendy did not move fast enough. He comes charging out the store. Spit flying out his mouth. "What the fck, hurry up bitch. I'm in here fck' waiting for you." Miss Jones leans into the camera and says, "I guess he needed someone to pay for the jewels" (6:11).
There was way more to this show, but I just did not have time to listen to all of it. But, I will be checking her out on her new show with DJ Envy.
