Houston rapper Monaleo gets a Lil spooky on the Rocaine-produced track "Body Bag." Over a menacing beat, Monaleo delivers her signature aggressive rap style sprinkled with humor that has made her fan favorite among rap fans.
"He gon' spend them racks before I ever let him touch me (Nigga what?)
Zip up yo' pants, I want that neck, you cannot fuck me (Ew)
Yeah, he know I'm prettier than a bitch, but I get ugly"
The First Lady of Griselda, Armani Caesar, dropped her first single, "Diana" featuring Kodak Black off her upcoming album "Liz 2." The Camoflauge Monk produced track sound old school NY, which is not surprising for those who listened to Armani's first album. However, what is a surprise is that women are still working with Kodak Black. Besides his disturbing behavior and pension for harassing female rappers online, he in no way fits this song, and it was a cringe moment listening to him rap,
"I don't hit women, but if you rape my heart, bitch, you gon' die
I love you so much, you so pretty, I'm finna cry"
He should be the last person using the word "rape." Overall, this song will not be on repeat for me.
The cover art is clearly an homage to Lil Kim's "Hard Core" album. Armani said Lil Kim was the first female rapper she had heard and thinks "Hard Core" is the best female rap project ever.
Armani Caesar's album "Liz 2" drops tonight.
